Park Pass
The biggest and best parks in Wuxi cost money to enter. If you’re planning to visit several, consider buying the Park Pass ( 园林一卡通). Prices vary each year, but with the Park Pass you can visit all of Wuxi’s Parks free for the remainder of the year. So, to get the best use out of it, buy your Park Pass at the beginning of the year. You will also need to bring a photo of yourself to attach to the card.

3 Kingdoms City 三国城 sānguóchéng
3 Kingdoms City is on the lake. To get there in a taxi, just say san guo cheng .

3 Kingdoms City is a collection of buildings used to film adaptations of the Chinese classic Romance of Three Kingdoms. Go here to see some modern interpretations of the Wu, Wei, and the Shu nations.

Dragonhead Peninsula is also out on the lake. To get there in a taxi, just say long tou zu

Huishan National Forest is another part of the Xihui Park, Xi Mountain, and Hui Mountain feature in western Wuxi. It has, without a doubt, the best natural scenery within the Wuxi city limits.

This man-made island in the lake is the only sandy beach on Lake Tai near Wuxi. It is free and very popular.

Lingshan Buddha is far out west of Wuxi. To get there in a taxi, just say ling shan da fo

The Lingshan Buddha is another must-see destnation in Wuxi. Well-funded and well-maintained, this monument to all forms of Buddhism draws many visitors.

This park in western Wuxi is filled with tulips and cherry blossoms. It also has, somewhat strangely, several prominents symbols of Dutch living.

Nanchan Temple is another must-see destination in downtown Wuxi. It’s temple and buildings are all built in the traditional Jiangnan style. There are many shops and restaurants here. Boat tours through Wuxi’s canals begin here as well.

Turtle-head Peninsula is also southwest of downtown Wuxi along the lake. To get there in a taxi, just say Yuan tou zu .

Turtle-head Peninsula is one of the most popular places to visit for Chinese tourists. The park has gardens, ancient bridges, and ferries to islands in the lake. The cherry blossoms in the spring and the red-brown leaves in the autumn draw the biggest crowds.

In the 3-Kingdom Period, Wuxi was part of the Wu nation, and this small park northwest of downtown Wuxi is dedicated to retaining that heritage.


Wuxi Chang Guang Xi National Wetlands Park 无锡长广溪国家湿地公园 wú xī cháng guǎng xī guó jiā shī dì gōng yuán
The park\’s borders are Shi Tang Bridge at the southwest bank of Lihu, Xi Jun Zhang Mountain, Donglin University, North Connection of Lihu, and Taihu

A wetlands park located at the last station of Line 1 of the Wuxi Metro.


Wuxi Film Sets 影视基地 yǐngshìjīde
The Wuxi Film Sets are out on the lake. To get there in a taxi, just say ying shi ji di .

Built in 1987 along the shore of Lake Tai, these film sets are a popular venue for many Chinese period dramas.
